Samouelian Musical Instruments is the oldest music store in the center of Athens, located at 36 Ifestou Street in Monastiraki. Our family business has operated continuously at the same address since 1928, when it was founded by Hovanes Samouelian.

He was succeeded by his son, Samouel Samouelian, who established our bouzouki workshop. Under his leadership, the business supplied instruments to renowned musicians and film productions, including the legendary Finos Film movies of the 1960s and 1970s, where the name “Samouelian Musical Instruments” can still be seen.

Since 1983, the business has been managed by Yannis Samouelian, a professional guitarist, professor at the Hellenic Conservatory, and expert in traditional and modern instruments. Today, the fourth generation — Samuel and Sarkis Samouelian — proudly continues the family legacy.
