ALTAMIRA BASICO 3/4 Nat Classical Guitar

The Altamira Basico is the entry-level model of the Altamira guitar family. The internal construction of the Basico corresponds to that of the N300. Externally, the two models differ in that the Basico has a matt finish. Its solid cedar top gives it a warm and powerful sound that you will otherwise look for in vain in this price range.

Entry level guitar, suitable for beginners starting classical guitar lessons. This matte finish guitar has a punchy, immediate tone and simple minimal aesthetic, and features a quality solid top. The top of the guitar is the vital component for generating sound, vibrating as each string is plucked. With solid top guitars, the more this soundboard vibrates, the more this single piece of wood adapts and ‘opens up’ which improves the quality of sound as the guitar ages.
