NUX NDS-2 Brownie Distortion

The NUX NDS-2 Brownie Distortion packs the classic British rock tones of the 1970s into one mini box. A hybrid circuit reproduces both preamp and power-tube distortion characteristics for a warm, organic tone.

A specially designed BJT input stage makes the pedal break up the way a preamp tube does when it starts to distort, while asymmetrical clipping adds harmonic content and keeps the low end tight. A low-pass tone filter simulates the Variac effect, rounding off the high frequencies.
